This water-resistant canvas tarpaulin comes from India, where the fabric has been waxed to make it waterproof. Our canvas tarpaulin rolls are ubiquitous among tarpaulin makers because they are sold without eyelets, hems, or seams. The proofed canvas is 18 ounces in weight. Canvas is breathable because it is made of natural fibres; but, when exposed to extreme temperatures, a small amount of shrinkage may occur. Wax-proofing our tough canvas tarps makes them water-resistant.
